Recently, I found that in Photoshop, the original image cannot be directly modified, and any operation will result in the creation of a new layer when saved.
Cropping the image size also does not automatically fill the background color.
The issue lies in not selecting "Delete Cropped Pixels". Once this is checked, you can directly modify the original image and save it.
